Review:
Max had a tiny room and it was stuffy Max seemed far to big for it. Her grandma was lecturing her like she was a baby. Max's grandma said " it's about time you stopped being so selfish and started thinking about what's good for Rain".Max said to her grandma. " All this time and you still don't get it do you it's my life not yours". Rain felt as if she was looking at herself because there was a girl that looked just like her. |
Excerpt:
Why does being different have to make you an outsider? Rain followed behind her. The ground didn't feel solid under her feet. Surely Max couldn't be serious. It couldn't all be over just like that could it? Thirteen years of living on the bus always moving on from place to place. And if they did stop...She felt her heart beating faster suddenly. She felt dizzy Her head was swimming with possibilities she hurried after Max. |
