The book is about a girl named Bean who is always getting in trouble and her friend named Ivy who says if you are kind, generous and pure of heart, animals will follow you home and love you forever. So the two try and be as kind as they can to everyone around them. But the animals don't seem to be coming to them so they come up with another plan for the animals to come.
Excerpt: 
Bean's day is going downhill, and its only nine in the morning. Is it her fault she licked syrup off her plate? Is it her fault Nancy's yarn got used up? Yes. Bean wonders if being good is worth the effort. Ivy says yes, that if you're really good, animals will love you and follow you home. Wow! This is about two girls one of the girls loved cameras so they went to a shop at the end of the road she spotted an old camera on the shelf but it wasn't for selling so the girl begged and finally the cranky owner gave her the camera both  of the girls were taking photos,But when hey came out their was a boy in there picture it was a dead boy the girls said to each other is that boy trying to haunt us.
